We are excited and honored to share that SF Consultant is organizing ‘My Handloom My Pride’ expo at Delhi with Support of National Handloom Development Corporation, O/o Development Commissioner Handloom, Ministry of Textile. The 15-day event was inaugurated on August 1st and it will conclude on August 15th, the Independence Day of India.
We are having the pleasure of hosting more than 125 Handloom agencies/National awardees belonging to 22 states across the country and we expect 10,000 visitors to come and see what Indian Handloom Industry has to offer in 2021.
The expo has been visited by Hon. Minster of State for Textiles and Railways Mrs. Darshana Jardosh, Hon. Minister of State for Commerce Mrs. Anupriya Patel, Hon. Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi along with Ms. Roopa Ganguly, Mrs. Hema Malini and Ms. Navneet Ranamany and many other esteemed members of parliament on August 4th. At the event, all Honorable MPs interacted with the participating weavers and artisans and bought some products made by them as well.
At the event, Hon. Mrs. Darshana Jardosh invited all the women Members of Parliament to visit the ongoing exhibition at Dilli Haat and see the rich handloom heritage in order to encourage the weavers and promote the industry.
